I have shared with some of you discussion topics from this fascinating class I am taking in the PSYC department at Metropolitan State called The American Male. It is about what is expected of boys and men in America and how those expectations compare with males in other countries. It attempts to illuminate reasons for some stereotypical male behavior like sexism, homophobia, aggression, promiscuity, insensitivity, and violence to name a few.
