I began to notice a lot of number 11s showing up in my life lately to the point where I mentioned it to Aaron and Cole among others. I moved into an apartment on the 11th floor of a building on 11th street and my parking space is number 211. We are now in the 11th month and tomorrow i finally sell the home i bought in 2011.
Tonight I looked this up online to try to find out if anyone had any theories about what it means when certain numbers present themselves in your life. I know it sounds like some kind of stupid superstition. Maybe it is. In the same way that cooking makes me feel closer to my beloved grandmother and whenever I see a train on a track I think of my grandfather what's the harm in it? This makes me feel good. What if there is a message that we are dismissing because we can not explain it? Here is what I found:
If you repeatedly see the number 11, it is a message from the angels to pay attention and take action.
The number 11 is a message that angels send to those of us who are unfocused, lack self-confidence, and are engaging in self-sabotaging behaviors.☑
Take a moment to check where your thoughts and behaviors are leading you. Are you on the path of happiness? If not pay attention to the other messages because it is time for you to make some changes.
No matter where you are in life or along your path, the angels are letting you know that they are surrounding you with love and light.
You are never alone. All you need to do is ask for assistance and the angels will respond.
When the angels show you the number 11, it means you can reach spiritual enlightenment. By showing you this number, the angels are illuminating the doorway to change through self-growth and spiritual awakening. The angels are encouraging you to walk through those doors and connect with your higher-self and the spiritual world. Here you will be able to find, understand and know how to accomplish your life’s purpose and where your spiritual journey is leading you.
By seeing the number 11 you are receiving a message to find and stay focused on your life purpose. Once again you are being guided to walk through the doors of spiritual awakening.
If you find that you have been feeling scattered, stressed, anxious, conflicted, shy or experiencing fearful emotions, ☑☑☑☑☑☑ the number 11 is a message that you need to set some solid concrete goals. In addition, it is extremely important for you to maintain your focus on accomplishing them. The number 11 is a message that if you are not staying focused and working toward a goal you are at high risk of self-sabotage.
You are manifesting what you think about almost instantly. Your thoughts, positive affirmations and overall optimism will manifest your desires. They will also assist you with accomplishing your goals and understanding your life-purpose.
In addition, the angels are telling you to release all negativity and fear. It is time for you to have a fresh start that includes letting go of the past and staying focused on your desires, goals, and purpose. Fear and negativity serve no purpose other than feed your ego, hold you back, and encourage self-sabotaging behaviors.
The number 11 is the number of faith. The angels are letting you know that you need to learn to rely on faith rather than logic.
You are at a point in this lifetime where, to truly accomplish your soul’s mission, you need to let go of control and let the pieces fall. Have faith and believe that who you are, what you have done, and your connection to the spiritual realm will ensure the pieces fall exactly where they are meant to. Use your intuition and feelings to connect to your subconscious and higher-self. Let faith be your guiding light.
You are meant to be a spiritual leader. To guide and illuminate the way for others on their spiritual journey and as they walk their life path. The number 11 is a calling for you to recognize your importance as a light to guide and inspire others.

balance

summer is under way. i have lost another 2 lbs. for a running total of 13. I had another meeting with a dietician last week (my third one) where we talked about what I am eating and how much of it and so on. The breakthrough moment this time is something I think we all learned in the second grade: eating a balanced diet will help you maintain good health. I felt like an idiot when I said my brain work in numbers and spreadsheets she pulled out a picture of a plate -color coded, with the words DAIRY GRAINS FRUIT VEGETABLE and PROTEIN printed around it . She said my breakfast everyday must consist of d-g-f-p, my lunch must consist of d-g-f-p-v, and my dinner must consist of d-g-f-p-v. We she actually did the math for me: she said if I go grocery shopping once per week and there are 2 adults in my home and we should each have 3 fruits everyday 2 X 3 X 7 = 42 servings of fruit I should buy at the store every week! false alarm

this will be sort of comprehensive and haphazard. today is the third anniversary of the death of my friend Michelle Carter who died in the delivery room giving birth to her second child so I think about living life to the fullest and seizing the day as our time together is too short. It is in part because of Michelle that I went back to school (nearly finished with my 6th semester back after a very long hiatus) and that I gave medical weight management a try. someone I work with but i don't know very well suddenly lost her mother in an accident just yesterday. I still feel like I am doing the right thing and the best thing for me. I watched a TV show last night called This is Life LIVE on TLC that I had DVRd featuring a woman named Monique who forgave a drunk driver 20 years after he killed her 1 year old daughter and adult sisters. I sobbed and I wondered, "What I am I holding onto that I can not let go of?" Compared to this amazing woman nothing stands to reason. yest
